I had the spicy chicken panini. Friendly staff and quick efficient service. The panini was ok but didnt have much flavour or spice. Maybe the chilli chicken would be better. Too many other places to try in the city to bother going back.
I’ve eaten here twice and both times I had their pies. The first pie I had was tasty, although slightly on the dry side. The gravy helped with that. The most recent experience I had a pie with two sides. Unfortunately the pastry of this pie was hard and over cooked. The contents inside was only 2/3 full and the pie was again on the dry side. I asked for gravy and received about one small spoon of it. The meal was not enjoyable. The side of mashy peas was cold. The side of coleslaw was overdressed with sauce. The servings of the sides were miserly. Not worth the $10 for the poor and $4 more for sides.
Well the food looked good, but after standing there for a few minutes whilst staff talk amongst themselves, I left and went elsewhere. Fix your service.
Located in a food court surrounded by plenty Asian choices where you can get a mountain of rice with 2-3 dishes for only $11-$12, you have Chuck’s Shnitz super sandwich/roll average-sized at $10. Stand alone, $10 is actually decent for the rather thick sandwich packed with juicy chicken, salad, and oozing sauces, but more than often I decided to go with other choices for the value of the money.Still though, in all fairness, Chuck’s sandwich was good. Staffs were friendly and servings were quick too (even after you added the toasting time!). Their window display was always full with all sorts of choices making it hard to settle on one. Last I ordered was the one with crispy chicken in the middle. It was crunchy on the outside but really juicy on the inside. It would be better if there was more sauce. Maybe they should add a counter for sauces like sweet chilli or mayo or BBQ sauce where customers could just add on themselves. Portion could have been bigger.
Well I wasn’t expecting that! Best salmon and cream cheese sandwich I’ve ever had. No idea why! Huge amount of food on display to choose from, sweet and savoury. I find the sweet stuff overpriced for its price so haven’t tried and will not. Will definitely go back to try more of their savoury options. Unremarkable service. PayPass readily available. $9.90 for all sandwiches (expensive in my opinion so I won’t be back frequently).
