I’d be happier at Mcdonald’s. Had the broken rice.. Pork chop was so small and skinny and it tasted like reheated meat… So utterly disappointed…. The spicy beef stew noodles was passable… But I will not returning… Bad service too…
Deceptive Conduct. I went to Dao Vien Vietnamese Restaurant on Tuesday 31/12/13 for lunch with some friends. The boss lady was rude all times and refused to accept the entertainment book voucher when we paid with excuse that it’s new year eve. It is not a public holiday and it was not busy at all. It is not stated anywhere that voucher will not be accepted before a public holiday. It is just not ethic to have their restaurant advertised for free on entertainment book and refused to give customers the discount! Advertised goods and services are not provided in accordance with the advertising. Wonder where we stand legally!!!
This place always turns out good food. Had a lovely seafood laksa today.
Good cheap food. As other reviewers say, the decor of this place needs an upgrade but the service is quick and food is decent. The price is extremely reasonable, so much so that you’ll feel bad handing over your entertainment card. It’s not in a convenient location, perhaps when they sink the railway it will open it up a bit.
