I have been here once on a Dimmi deal and rocked up for a lunch appointment. We were the only ones they were serving in a Saturday arvo so it was really quiet. Ordered a burger and some ribs, and the food came fairly quick. Initially the burger didn’t seem to be very appealing but I was pleasantly surprised with the taste. Perhaps presentation wasn’t the best but I would definitely head back if I were after a tasty burger. Some places may have patties which lack flavour which makes the burger experience u enjoyable. But here at Deen Street BBQ, burgers didn’t look the prettiest, but definitely made me want to go back again for more.
TERRIBLE. What poor quality food. Where to begin? The ribs are slathered with a sickly sweet, cheap tasting BBQ sauce. Potatoe salad was NOT homemade. A cheap supermarket version would be much better. Vegetables were overcooked, limp and totally tasteless. The dirty fries again soaked in that awful sweet BBQ sauce. All you can taste from that sauce is sugar and acidity. No other flavour at all. All of the side dishes were appalling. The waiter tried his best and was very friendly. The cocktails he made were VERY GOOD.
