Holy heck!!! This place is unreal. Its so hard to go out to dinner and know that everyone can be pleased with all their dietary requirements (vegan, gluten free, dairy free, nut allergy or even a meat lover)… Dejavu caters for this and for everyone!!Great place for a group or even just for two. Last night my partner and I visited Dejavu for the third time and had an unreal experience. Things that really stood out: – Excellent quality of service – Legitimate cocktails – Insanely flavorsome menu – Options for everyone What to definitely order: – Traditional espresso martini – Sticky potato!!!!- Secret nuggets- Coconut panna cottaThank you to all the staff on last night (31/07) for going above and beyond and making our experience wonderful!
Cocktails were tasty, but the staff were just not on the ball the night I was there. If a glass of wine takes 20mins longer than 3 of their fancy cocktails to show up, then we got a problem.
This is probably my favourite bar and tapas in Perth. Firstly, the customer service is incredible. I have been here twice, once with 3 friends and once with just my partner. Both times, we asked to sit outside which meant them having to take out tables for us and a heater. They did all of this gladly and were absolutely lovely and friendly. The food is delicious tapas, decent sized and not unreasonably priced. The drinks are incredible, theatrical and delicious, and not overly priced. I highly recommend dejavu.
food was AMAZING!!!!! Pictured is the Chef Special Taster Plate and it was yum (vegan pizza was also delicious) ordered the dessert trio and it was okay I wouldn’t order that one again. The potato appetisers also did not dissapoint… vegan but tasted like bbq ribsWould recommend, nice ambience and aesthetic (music is also really good)
It was just less than 30 per person but without the discount it would’ve been over 100 all together and for the quality of the food received, that would have been exuberantly overpriced.I’m unsure if it was due to Sunday and being less busy for them, but the food was highly underwhelming and Sunday shouldn’t excuse it. It felt amature with the random slices of capsicum and alfalfa sprouts dominating the main dish and tasteless sliders.The sticky potatoes were good but much like the potatoes in the main dish, they were on the fine line of being undercooked. My personal favourite out of it all was the prawn crepes but a single serve portion for 17? What…? The food also took a very long time to come out.Again, for the quality of the food, the price was way too high, I’m just glad we had a 50% off on dimmi to dampen the blow. The wine was good though, cool international selection. Alas, sadly, we won’t be returning but hopefully the quality increases.
Service was quick and the guy who always serves us is very attentive and polite. The food was tasty. Some good charcoal pizzas but they didn’t show it on the menu, had to ask for it. Quiet atmosphere on weeknight but it’s great for a quiet dinner for two. All round good place for vegetarians/vegans would visit again.
Nice service. Great option for vegans. Not many options if you’re not. Not to be confused with the dj-vu tapas down stairs. The Yogis delight could use a sauce to bind it all together. It’s exactly what it advertises however… vegetables and quinoa. The jackfruit curry was surprisingly nice.
