What a transformation! From divey, dirty The Shed to the most beautiful venue in Perth. The food is incredible.Highlights are the chicken and mushroom dumplings and the beef burger. Their house Spritz is also totally delicious, and affordable at $15 each.I can’t recommend more!
We recently dined at Henry Summer for dinner. The location and layout is amazing and cannot be faulted. We ordered the fish and chips which were very good however we also ordered the jamon crouquettes which were not very good. My friend also ordered a serving too. When we bit into the crouquette it was okay around the outside but in the middle was wet and had a soup like consistency and was dripping everywhere which made them not very enjoyable. It seemed like they were fried frozen? Must have been because there’s no way to get that consistency on the inside. I messaged Henry Summer 3 days ago about this as I felt like everything else was lovely and did not want to give a poor public review however 3 days later and they have seen the message and have not replied. Unfortunately due to their poor food and poor customer service we will not be dining again. If you do plan on dining please stay away from the frozen crouquettes!!

The food is great, croquettes, carpaccio and rotisserie beef with green beans and macadamias particular standouts. The beef for $27 is outstanding value and quality, and the drinks list is solid with locals on tap ie Little Dove from Gage Roads. Great place for a long lunch!
The fit-out looks great and the outdoor area is perfect for warm afternoons or evenings. Food is ordered at the bar and seems to come out pretty quickly. My friends ordered a cauliflower salad and a chicken salad. The cauliflower salad would be too small for a main meal, unless you weren’t very hungry, but the chicken salad was a decent size, if not huge. They both liked their meals. I ordered the chickpea burger and chips, which was great. The night we were there was a bit chilly but I’d definitely head back on a warm evening.
