It was my first time here. I think it was a bit inconvenient that when you entered the restaurant you have to walk down a set of staircase into the basement to get to the actual restaurant. Nonetheless the decorations (paintings, umbrellas etc) were very nice. We all ordered Nasi goreng with the chicken drumsticks. In my opinion I think the rice was too oily and soggy for my liking, but the flavour was delicious. The drinks we ordered were quite pleasant. They were too sweet for my liking but quite refreshing on a hot day. Overall an average experience for me

Best rendang in Perth!!Go there for lunch to get buffet style Padang meals. Huge portions and so cheap. If you like durian, try their delicious durian shakes. Humble setting but fantastic food.

For $11.90 you get authentic Indonesian cuisine with rice and a choice of 2 meats, additional mixed vegetables, savoury potato and Indonesian traditional chilli. Its so many! You can upsize to 3 meats for only $13.90 thats $2 extra for additional meat! Plenty of meats to choose from including fish, squid, chicken, lamb, beef, and many many more. The staff is polite and very nice and generous too she doesnt mind giving extra sauce (not just ordinary sauce but Indonesians curry / sauce / spices which is amazing). The container itself is bigger than the usual standard size container. You are really treating yourself for a big meal for only $11.90. What more can you ask? Its my to-go lunch now for a quick and homey lunch in the city!

Nice food, reasonable priced. The ambiance was very Indonesian. Saw other Indonesian regulars dining… Looking forward to try more food from this place! 🙂

Went there for the first time. Food tasted good. However the dishes came out cold, and the place is chocked with cigarette smell. Totally unacceptable!

Being in a basement doesn’t help the semi dodgy ambience. However, the chicken curry was very reasonably priced, no extra oil and flavourful. One curry was enough as a light meal for the two of us. The very central location makes it convenient to return.

A good menu and atmosphere in this interesting basement restaurant. Good value and consistently good Es campur/cendol, which isn’t always available in most Indonesian Diners in Perth. The rest room does require attention however.
