I went with a group of friends, we all ordered different food. The food came quick and we were all stoked about the free self serve green tea. My friends complained the meat/fish was a tad dry and didnt taste the freshest. I had no problem with my tofu and avocado salad (I have eaten is quite a number of times)- its a touch oily but very filling.
It was dark, cold and gloomy day when I arrived here. Luckily seats were available immediately, my order was enough to brighten my day. The unagi don was served beautifully, colourful and pleasing to look at. It was a big portion too, lots of japanese rice served with soft marinated eel, salad all together with miso shiru on the side. The food here certainly aren’t cheap but you get what you pay for. Great flavour and value.
This place is worth going back, good value of food for the price. I couldn’t finish my meal and my friend had to take away hers! Busy restaurant on a Wednesday night, probably a good sign showing that they are really good. I had the unagi bento, love the flavours, could be better with a different bowl/plate as my vege was overfilled and I spilled some on the table while eating. Would love to be back to try other items.
I have been to is donburi several times, and continue to come back because they have a very varied menu so no matter what I feel like there’s something to satisfy me, the prices are very good, and i am always pleased with my food. There is also free tea. Dragon roll is a personal favourite.
This is the place to go for a quick Japanese with the bonus of having good value for money. Food were all delicious except for the gyoza which doesnt seem quite right.
