Ate here Saturday the restaurant seemed busy so thought we would give it a go. What a surprise really enjoyed the samon gravalax so tasty and fresh. Heard its part of the new tapas styled menu will definitely be back lamb shank was tasty 2 meat falling of the bone just yummy. On my way to the rest room was very surprised to see just 1 chef plating a variety of dishes looked cool.
Amazing service with unique offerings of tapas menu-salmon,white bait & lamb kofta were tasty. Mains portions were smaller than expected but thelamb? neck on skewers was yummy.Finish off with warm sticky date pudding & choc mousse.
Kalao. This was a restaurant chosen by my girlfriend for a Friday night meal, and her consistent good taste in restaurants, in my opinion didn’t let her down. I like the simple concept of dishes based on different countries, which ranges from the safe to the slightly adventurous. My South African entree and Zimbabwean main were both interesting and tasty dishes, however my dining partner’s steak was apparently a disappointment, cold, badly cooked, and cheap-tasting. As I get the feeling that this is the outlet for a cooking college, I commend the efforts of the staff, especially the two waiters who were thoroughly attentive and polite. You won’t get astonishing, exciting food, but if you’re after something nice with an international theme, it’s certainly worth checking out.

I am an event organizer for A big social group here in Perth and visit many restaurants. The service was brilliant, efficient friendly and skilled.We ordered a variety of entrees and main courses and everything was done perfect. Lovely presentation and great food. We were pleasantly surprised. All of us are coming back.Do yourself a favor and try this little treasure.
Hidden Gem!. This place is fantastic! Service is brilliant and efficient… food is cheap with large portions, and very yummy! It was my first time here and I will be back, and I will recommend this to everyone I know! THANKS!
A little disappointing. Heard good reviews about this place and came away disappointed. The service is exceptional – cannot fault it.Antipesto and calamari entree was great! The mains were a massive let down – paella was very bland, schnitzel over cooked and dry, the crabs were ok… all dishes seem to have way too much capsicum in them. The desserts were very nice though. I would consider going back again – when the menu has changed.
Lovely flavours. We dined on Saturday night before going on to a live show, the menu great when you don’t want to be tied down to one genre; the range was exotic, and my dish from Zimbabwe was unusual and pleasantly surprising. Great concept, great flavours, and best of all, the prices would allow us to eat there again with no qualms. Highly recommended.
