Ive recently visited La Casa Sinti Whiskey Bar and I have to say I am very impressed. This unpretentious small bar located on Barrack Street hasnt had a million dollar fit out. Over the years the venue has been used as Barber shops and hair dressing salons, with the bar essentially being placed on top. With possibly the cheapest pints in the Perth CBD managing director Barry Moore is keen to emulate the prices of local suburban bars. With the end of the mining boom I think he is spot on with a winning formula. They wont promise you will be in foodie paradise, however you will find Bars Jars on the menu, a small range of bar snacks to accompany your favourite drink. The sweet potato fritas are my favourite. For those into cigars the venue is a licence cigar merchant with a private membership that includes a humidor cigar locker and other great benefits. There is a small private court yard in the making located on Grand Lane to enjoy your puff. With a great Whiskey list that is continuing to grow, Spanish and Aussie wines and possibly the best Prosecco I have had in Perth, I will definitely be back to support this new establishment.
