Average service and average food…prices were high considering the service!Location was good, could of had a more traditional ‘english’ decor!
Quaint arcade -cafe centrally located, low key.Seems to be well supported by the locals, quite busy mid afternoon when I stopped for afternoon tea.No table service which means you need to leave your things at a table and go inside- tricky if you’re alone.Female staff all young and foreign were very chatty a man stood by overseeing but didn’t interact with me.Peppermint tea – you can get wrong. If the pot dripped dreadfully- it was all in the saucer when it arrived.Berry cheesecake was on the dried out side – tasted ok but didn’t have a freshness about it. No sauce just a dab of cream on the side. I didn’t photograph the cake- it just wasn’t that exciting.It cost a total of $13 which is pretty average for a capital city. A glass of water would’ve been nice on such a hot day.

Went there for breakfast. Superb coffees, lovely food. Cooked nicely and well presented. Staff was very nice and considerate. Food didn’t take long to come out either. Was quite nice. Popular cafe so can get noisy to a certain extent, especially with people with loud voices. The cafe provides free reading materials such as magazines and newspapers. The cafe also gives free water for their patrons which is always a great feature for me. Loved it. Nice decor and pictures of the wall. Will return again to try something else on their menu.
We met up here for a coffee and ended up ordering lunch too. The place is very busy so tables are really squishy inside or directly in the mall traffic outside. Lucky we like each other! The coffee was ok. Nothing spesh and I’ve certainly had worse. He ordered pancakes that turned out to be a very small serving size for the price. I had eggs on toast. Hard to get that wrong. It was plain but good food. The service is prompt despite them being busy. I guess it’s the convenience and location that keep it going.
I used to love the pancakes from London Court Cafe, lovely food there. However, I had a huge disappointment today. I arrived there at 10:09am and ordered a hot mocha to dine in. I waited around 10mins for the coffee and the chocolate powder on top has already melted, so it’s probably sitting there for awhile after its been made. I have to catch the train at 10:31am, so I thought I would just quickly drink it and go…NO!!!! The coffee was way too hot to even have a sip. I couldn’t even finish half of it. I just didn’t know why it took 10mins to just make a coffee when it’s not really busy…big big big disappointment…
