This cafe is always on my list as I’ve heard how great their mac and cheese waffle is. Came here on a weekday around 1.45pm to try it out but the staffs were already sweeping and packing. We were told the kitchen is closed and the cook is not making any hot food including mac and cheese waffle. So we ordered the salmon bagel, chicken burger and a cappuchino. Food and coffee wasnt great and I wont be coming back to try out their mac and cheese.
The inside of this Northbridge cafe is surprisingly roomy and delightfully decorated. The varied menu provides for both staples and signature dishes, and each person I dined with was satisfied with the portion sizes. I had the chicken waffles – the waffles were beautiful and sweet and the chicken was juicy and crispy on the outside. The choice of either chutney or syrup allowed me to choose sweet or savoury for each bite. The manager spoke to us personally and was lovely and down to earth. I was a tad disappointed by my bounty hot chocolate but apart from that it was a fantastic experience.
