This place has great lunch time specials from Monday-Thursday. We came on a Friday but the prices are reasonable. The guiness pie had a crispy top, rich gravy and tender pieces of meat. The ribs were OK, but as one of the most expensive dishes on the menu I was expecting more. The steak sandwich looked amazing and was tasty. The hot chips are Amazing and worth going there just for them!!
Local pub just around the corner from work. Not too shabby. We had the Pork Ribs, Steak Sandwich and the Beef & Guinness Pot Pie. The ribs were a bit disappointing – flavour wasn’t there, meat wasn’t too dry at least. The steak sandwich looked impressive – liked the fact there were battered onion rings in there. The pie was top pick though, for $10 and filled with tender beef and flavouresome gravy sauce. All came with battered chips, well fried and crispy! All were pretty decent servings which left us full – not bad for the prices.
