I’m from Melbourne and right off the bat I have to say the prices are expensive. The waitress was not friendly, efficient, but not welcoming or attentive. Food was in between ‘ok’ and ‘good’. Wouldn’t go back. To many other options when it comes to Asian eats. Not sure how they got such good reviews on Google. Maybe this is good for Perth? I found the Asian in Coventry Market to be a heap better and value for money.
Okay restaurant is located on the okay side of Northbridge, away from the bustling traffic of the entertainment area. The interior of the restaurant is okay, not much decor or styling however it does seem quite clean and well kept. I placed an order for the diced beef served with Okay fried rice. The portions were okay, enough to satisfy my hunger but not enough to leave me satisfied. The taste was okay, the diced beef had a nice wok flavour to it, but was a tad too saturated in oil for my liking. The Okay fried rice was also okay, it was missing something I couldn’t put my finger on. Prices for the food was okay, and priced for the area.All in all, Okay restaurant is okay. I have returned and I believe it is still is okay. Not to say that being okay is not good, but I encourage the reader to try the food.

Okay restaurant, it’s ok!Great price, service and freshness we got the braised dick soup and tom yum.The braised dick was great with egg noodles the tom yum was a little lackluster, it did however make up for that with the amount of seafood.We also had some stuffed chicken wings but we ate them too quickly and didn’t get a photo, they were good too Don’t expect a 5 star dish, that isn’t what this place is about, do expect great service and a good venue for large groups on a budget.
