Been coming here since it opened & have tried just about everything thats been on the menu. Im picky and impatient and nevertheless say the food here is hard to beat. Service can be a bit stiff sometimes but I can overlook that for food quality. Had an entire lamb shoulder once, still fantasising about the crispy salty skin & sweet pan juices. Whether its meat fish veg or sweets Ive always found multiple dishes to salivate over and havent regretted a single choice. In short its hard to go wrong no matter what you order and thats coming from someone who HATES meal disappointment.

Petition Kitchen was situated just besidesmy office, I’ve been here multiple times for lunch and I didn’t get bored as it had many unique options to eat and deliciousundoubtedly. The sandwich, salad, dessert and the ‘corns’ were great. Its a nice fancy place with very friendly and attentive staff.Ambience 4/5Food 4/5

We had the pork head croquettes, clams & fried dough sticks, pate and non alcoholic drinks. The ambience was unfinished building renovations. Open kitchen. Food was good for drinks. Nice work shop feel.

A work colleague had recommended this to me several times, telling me it was by far the best restaurant in Perth. And while it is very good, I didn’t think it quite matched that reputation.Arriving for a lunch meeting the restaurant was bustling and staff warm and engaging.Menu has some interesting twists and flavours; there has clearly been some thought applied to what is in market, the trends for fresh and interesting ingredients, and how to present well.Portion sizes for sharing were perfect, and the menu very clear as to set expectations for what was a tapas, and what was more substantial – we were left satisfied and not disappointed.Geraldton kingfish was the standout for me. The croquettes were ok, parfait was smooth and rich. The broccoli salad was also very impressive, subtle and flavoursome but a good foil to the richness in the parfait.Overall a really positive experience and somewhere worth a visit. I am not sure the setting would suit me for a dinner engagement, but as a CBD lunch spot this is well worth it.
