Ordered a fish and chips, picked out what looked like a Maltesers marble cake and $23.95 later, took a seat. The cake was already on my plate so at about 12:15 I took my first bite of the blandest, wet sponge texture cake I have had. The maltesers on top were the star of the show and the icing was too thick.The fish and chips were served with a side salad clearly meant to be colourful but as you can see, made the meal look blander. The salad itself had some flavour and crunch, but the ingredients were clearly not fresh. The chips were unsalted, bland but at least they were cooked properly and had a decent crunch which they quickly lost as they cooled. The fish had a good crumb, but was clearly the cheapest fillet they could get, and the skin was left on.Sanitary facilities are clean but poorly maintained.Overall, if you have to go there its edible, but avoid at all costs.
Very poor. The food is so bland, and on several occasions has left me feeling very unwell. The decor is tired – seats are ripped, the whole place looks like it’s in desperate need of a revamp. Staff are rude. Myer should shut this place down and use the space for a better and more modern experience. My only advice is to never go to pinnacles.
