A good family business with friendly customer service the price is definitely good for its quality and I don’t agree with what is said below, I bought my roast meal for $11.50 with a drink for $15 that’s normal for something bought in food courts. If you want something cheap then go to hungry jacks? whrre the food is cheap quality and you don’t know how it’s made. The price is definitely not pricey at all. at sumo salad you get a box of salad for $15 and people are still willing to pay that price, $15 for a roast meal and drink that is cooked daily is not expensive at all, well worth the price!
Bad food. I had a roast beef roll with chips from this place. the meat was very old and tough like it had been sitting there for days. I threw the meat away and had a dry bread roll for dinner because i couldn’t eat it. The chips were over cooked and not very nice. The people tried to sell me drinks even tho i said no thank you about 3 times. Hubby and kids had Subway and it looked delicious. Why didnt I go there instead bad service and disgusting food never going back
Don’t you love it when restaurant owners write their own reviews :p08 Apr, 2014Expensive. Friendly family business who are always happy to see you. Menu consists of roast beef,pork and lamb, plus chicken schnitzel burgers, roast beef rolls with gravy, chips etc. I’ve eaten here many times over the years and on average the food is quite good for food-hall dining. It used to be very good value for money, however due to a recent price increase I find myself no longer heading to Reef & Beef for dinner. Paying up to $17 for a roast dinner with a drink is a bit pricey in my opinion: especially when you can go to Salsa’s across the courtyard and have dinner for $10. I’ve had some great dinners here, however I don’t believe the quality of the food is worth the price.
Good quality food, especially the gravey is very nice. I like the chips they made, just happened to chat with the owner who told me they use the Kalis Bro Chips and Wedges. Slightly expensive than those chips in hungry jack, but you pay what you get.
