Went to Rigbys to watch a play downstairs. We had a parmigiana and salt and pepper squid. Very disappointed in the size of the squid for around $23! It was also excessively salty too.
They for chips and steak for both lunch and dinner at only $10. Chips are nice when served hot. The size of the steam seems volatile. Some days you get a bigger sizes one and some days you get a smaller cut. Best to go off peak dining times as they are normally swarmed with long queues.Manager don’t see to be friendly at times. Maybe long day at work? Anyway value for money meal so can always Pop by to try.
The facilities are nice but the food is still average. We had a work event hosted here and I was disappointed we were having lunch here as on past visits, the food has been average. Nothing has changed. I had the chicken parma which offered up a perfectly cooked succulent piece of chicken but the Neapolitan sauce was not sufficient and lacked punch. Worst food ever. Had the snapper and chips and chef salad with grilled chicken. So bad offered to a passing seagull, even it flew off. Shame shame shame.
BYO Ear protection. Late in the afternoon, sitting upstairs almost falling asleep listening to an undistinguished sales presentation, when I was suddenly awaken… The bar fridge was loud enough to be heard in the building next door every time the thermostat kicked in. To top it off I didn’t even win the door prize. What a waste of an afternoon.
Great venue with great value!. You really couldn’t ask for more for $10 with rigbys’ $10 steak and chips. Great value for money, such a nice looking and well kept venue, with lots of friendly staff. Would definitely recommend and would definitely go back!
