In addition to the affordable prices and central location, it also has amazing traditional Brazilian dessert treats!! Best beijinho I ever had! Rio 40o is the taste of Brazil in Australia!

At least twice a week I go to Rio 40. It is like going home. I love the service (those girls are the best!), I love the food and the atmosphere! I can say they are getting better and better as time goes by. Today, Rio 40 is a point of friends for my husband and I. And we bring people and they love it. Very nice price and delicious food in Perth’s CBD. What else would we wish???PS.: the carrot cake is amazing!!!! Congrats, Rio 40! All the best!
Delicious brazilian food! Really tasty…loved every single element from the dishe also the steak is really good, and they have great deals with yummy deserts and fresh juice…Great service as well! Worth to try it.
Relatively good for a CBD food court meal. Good service, most elements of the dish were tasty. Quite good value for the price. Have only had the Feijoada meal set so far but keen to try more. Dessert a bit sweet for my taste.
Delicious food and excellent customer service. I strongly recommend the coxinha. As a Brazilian, I can say that is exactly how it tastes back in Brazil.
I had never really tasted Brazilian dishes before so I did not know what was the standard. But I think it’s fair to say Rio did manage to do a relatively decent job at coming up with a good option for a quick lunch at Perth CBD.Staff was very friendly, patient, and informative in explaining all the different menu which was foreign to me. After his friendly explanation, I just could not back out and had to order one.I ordered a Feijoada at $12 which was served very quickly – hence ideal for quick lunch during busy hour. They used a very big and flat takeaway box and it did make it huge! I was quiet impressed how $12 could give me so much for lunch! Yes, in the end I did realise that majority of it was veges and there was very minimal meat on the menu. But still: the little menu that I had was very soft and delicious. The veges was not too bad either, but only to a point of course. In the end, you probably would not be able to keep on eating rice with black beans would u?Nonetheless, I probably would come again to try some of their other menu. After all there isn’t much quick, decent, affordable Brazilian lunch in CBD.
