May the chef cannot cook the rice. I came to this place on11/05/15The lemon grass beef and rice was rubbish, pork chops rice even worst. If you are looking for authentic Vietnamese food stay away from this place
Fesh rolls but not authentic Bahn Mi. Tried out the rolls and expecting them to be the authentic Bahn Mi (Vietnamese rolls) but unfortunately the taste didn’t hit the mark. Everything in the roll was fresh and tasty as a normal sandwich roll but just not Bahn Mi. Pate, butter and chicken put in the roll were not good enough. But they do sell half size sandwich rolls which is a good idea for anyone seeks for lighter lunch option.
Everything is super fresh and delicious. This place is soo soooo sooooo good! I love the staff they are so friendly and they remember my order. The food is amazing and I think what makes it so great is you can tell it is all freshly prepared with crisp and quality ingredients. The pork belly baguettes are my favourite I was shocked to find out after half a dozen or so visits these rolls have Pate in them. I never thought I was a fan of pate but hey apparently I am – I would call it their secret ingredient! The rice paper rolls are also delicious too the prices are reasonable! There is only one thing I don’t like and that’s the chilli – I always ask for no chilli on my baguette because it is SUPER SPICY! Beware!
Amazing food and amazing coffee. Came across this sweet little cafe one day and was blown away by how great the food tasted. This place has one of the best Vietnamese baguettes in Perth and I would definitely recommend it to everyone! The coffee is superb! I’ve tried it a few times since they’ve introduced it to the cafe and quite frankly, it is of very high quality and standard. The place doesn’t look like a coffee kind of place so I was a tad tentative about trying the coffee at first, but I am so glad I decided to try it! This place serves magnificent coffee. I especially like the coffee made by the girl with red hair! She’s super friendly and obviously knows her stuff when it comes to coffee. The latte art is a great touch to her coffees too. I’m glad I found this place and would definitely come back when I return to Perth.
Best Vietnamese in CBD. I came across this place on one of my lunch time walks and now it is one of my frequent stops a couple of times a week despite being a little further away from my office than I would like. The rolls are made to order and you can taste the difference in freshness and quality when compared to a number of other Vietnamese shops in the CBD. Value is exceptional for the quality of food provided.
Tasty and great value. I stumbled on this place a few weeks ago on the way to work. Have tried the pork belly baguette and rice paper rolls with hoi sin sauce. Great fresh taste and great balance of flavours. Service is fast and prices are good value for money.
New lunch favourite. Not sure how long this has been here, but is one of the many new vendors selling vietnamese food and targeting the lunch market. Came in a few weeks before Easter and this one has quickly now become a little favourite, and welcome addition to the lunch rotation. Choice selections are the Hot chicken roll ( banh mi) and the chicken and avocado vietnamese spring rolls (have always been really fresh & Hoisin sauce is very tasty!). A close alternative to Mama Trans ( up Hay St from the melbourne), and where I now go instead for the speed, convenience & freshness of food!.+ Quick, Fresh, Cheap- Not a lot of seating.
