I booked one week in advance for my colleagues and I to have lunch as a group of 10 here. We showed up at the agreed booking time however, no table was arranged for us and the staff didnt seem to care at all that we had made a booking. They simply told us to come back in 10 minutes but it was obvious that there was not enough room for us. Extremely disappointed as our lunch was planned and book well in advance. Won’t be returning and won’t be recommending to friends.
$14 All-You-Can-Eat Buffet! 2 Rice, 2 vegetarian and 2 meat dishes to choose from. Best value in the CBD. Such a low price and impossible to leave hungry. I’ll be back!
Not sure why this place hasn’t gotten more attention. Lunch buffet is only $14, we got a voucher from Groupon that made it $25 for us both. Really tasty food, a good variety of choices on offer. We tried everything. Smoky butter chicken, Two kinds of rice on offer, lentils, potato cauliflower curry. Best was the fish. White, soft and flaky in a yummy tomato onion sauce. Great fresh naan bread with butter. All tasty, no downside. Bargain lunch.
Not overly busy on any day. Decided to give it a try today as they offer buffet lunch for about $13 a head. basically about 5 choices of dishes with rice. These being Butter Chicken, Lamb Rogan Josh, Spiced Chick Peas, Vegetable & Potato, Biriyani rice and steamed rice. The lamb was a bit cold and chewy, but the butter chicken was tender and sweet – not too bad. Other dishes were just so so. Edible, but not a fan myself.
Great lunch spot, the interior is very clean and neat. Had the chicken biryani which tasted very nice, full of spices and also had butter chicken with naan, so good! The naan was fresh and soft and the chicken was tender and mild. The mushroom curry was also very flavourful and full of spices! They also had plain rice, lamb rogan josh and mixed beans curry. Worth the $17 for buffet!
Walking past, they were open so we decided to call in. And WOW!! So glad we did!!! Service is good – very polite & efficient. Food is worth giving them a 5 for!!
Nice lunch buffet although a little limited in choices. Lamb biryani was ok, the butter chicken was great but the other chicken curry was a bit boring. Nice cauliflower dish and dhal. Great naan and lovely people. Go there if you want a feast for lunch.
