An absolute bargain – and tasty, fresh food! The friendly staff were pretty rushed by the huge lunch crowds but were efficient and everything looked really fresh. But such great value – my burger for $8.90 was a grilled chicken burger with the works, made to order and they even threw in a handful of chips (not sure if that was standard but I really appreciated it!). They even brought it out to me. A bloody good deal and it was all very tasty – I’m definitely coming back!
Surprisingly ok. Alright, so it’s just a lunch bar cafe. But you can see they’ve made an effort. The cafe is a good size and they’ve used nicer than average chairs and added some oblong red and blue hanging lamps. It’s not trendy but it’s better than similar cafes.Service was friendly but a little slow, took a long time to deliver my soy cap. Food was pretty good – the bacon and scrambled egg wrap was simple but tasty and not too pricy ($6.80). Coffee wasn’t that great (and was $4.00), but I liked the fact that it was a mug and not just a small cup and it comes with a little cookie.Breakfast and lunch selection isn’t enormous but it’s not bad. The have a few different egg and bacon breakfast choices and all the standard Australian ‘dim sim’ fired items you find at these sort of places along with muffins and other sweets.Overall it was better than I expected and ok value for money.
