It’s a good sign when all the other patrons are Chinese! Ordered the cold spicy noodles, lamb ribs and spicy boiled fish in oil. The cold noodles were smooth and refreshing, not overly spicy though. The lamb ribs were really tasty, good hit of spice, pepper and cumin. There were surprising bits of potato in there like tasty chips which actually worked really well. The fish was really soft and even the small serve was incredibly generous. This was plenty of food for two and we had two containers full of food to takeaway for dinner the next night. The meal ended with a slice of complimentary orange which helped to cut through the oil. Not the healthiest meal and your mouth/tongue may be coated in oil but it’s nice treat meal if you like spice and don’t mind eating rice to soak up the oil and spice. Use your entertainment book voucher if you have one!
One of the very authentic Chinese restaurants in Perth. Some friends of mine frequent this place almost every other week. Greasy, heavy, delicious with everything reasonably priced. Service is not too bad either. Selection of drinks are pretty decent,I love getting myself a bottle of Tsingtao and digging in, feels like back in China!
As soon as you walk into this place you, the smell of spice his you. I felt like sneezing the whole time i was there. This is my first time here. For dishes cost $147! I think this is Waaaaayyy over priced for the quality that came out. We got the deep fried prawns, spicy lamb ribs, steamed pork over dried cabbage and fresh fish.Deep fried prawns were actually coated with salted egg. It came with potatoes. Different!Spicy lamb ribs was tasty and hot but the meat needed to be better quality. Meat was over cooked and potatoes (yes potatoes again) was mushy.The steamed pork over dried cabbage, i thought was a pleasant dish. Fresh fish is nice but nothing special.It was different but i don’t think I’ll be back. Service was really good.
Steamed BBQ Pork Bun came as a dumpling, not a pork bun… Sweet and Sour pork is on the bone which was really odd and pretty damn tough. Beans garlicy as hell and savoury pancake is literally flour and seasoning. Would not recommend.
We ordered 3 dishes, a mini hotpot, spicy pork strips and Sichuan style dumplings. The pork strips were the best and the other two were ok. Typical Chinese restaurant vibes, noisy as hell and very rush rush service
I ate here for the first time last week with a group of Chinese students. We had a feast! Nothing I tried was less than tasty. According to my student one of the most authentic Chinese restaurants they tried in Perth.
Fantastic food and attentive service! Ordered a duck dish as well as a vegetable and pork dish and was extremely impressed. Probably the best Chinese food I’ve had in Northbridge.
