Ordered the hainan chicken rice and it is value for money. It comes with a bowl of soup, rice and big portion of chicken. Whats best, they even removed the bones from the chicken for you.
Used to be a big fan of the chicken rice. Like a lot of the recent reviews, I also find the portion of chicken is nearly half of what it was. The used-to-be yummy chilli sauce taste watered down and the soup, it’s just weird tasting now. The chicken itself is still not too bad, but is way too salty. When I asked the staff what happened to the chilli, they said it has been adjusted cos some customers feedback that it’s too hot. Apparently we can still ask for the hot chilli. Not sure how true it is but I’ll probably stay away for a while given how disappointing lunch has been.
