Most delicious asian fusion food taking some classic South East Asian flavours and making them explode with even more flavour. We shared 2 entrees and 2 mains between 2 which were perfect. Dont hold back on the cocktails (Panda colada) Best dish was the beef short ribs served with a lychee salad which complimented it very well. Yum!
Honestly, for the price we paid, this was a very disappointing experience and we expected a lot more.We were sat at a high table with stools. The stools had no backs and no one offered to take my coat so I had to put it on the floor. We ordered 4 small plates and 2 cocktails to drink. I understand being busy but I don’t find it acceptable to bring the food out before the drinks. The food should have been held until the drinks were delivered. The food itself was just okay. We’ve had better fusion yum cha/Asian tapas at Neho or Sweetwater, so we really weren’t blown away.We also had to ask for the bill twice and they kept bringing us a dessert menu even after we’d said we didn’t want dessert and just wanted the bill. Was just a bit weird, really.
We started with the spicy cashews and then shared the crispy barramundi salad (l think I bit into a chilli) and the pork ribs. All the food was tasty but the drinks were overpriced. $60 for a bottle of Chardonnay which retails at under $17 (and this appeared to be the cheapest on the list). Found out just in time that one of my friends had Entertainment Book voucher, so that took the sting out the price of the wine in the end. Service was good.
