So I never go to coffee club, I usually go for more gourmet cafes but thought Ill give coffee club a try . I was very impressed ! The coffee was delicious , the food came out quickly and it was amazing ! I will definitely eat here again absolutely loved it
Coffee was pleasant and as usual the food is the sane quality everywhere. It’s good but nothing special but rate above most cafe chains. Always good food choices on the menu
This coffeeshop was used to have excellent staff who were so lovely and professional in every possible way(especially the female staff with curly hair). Now, the staff they hire are very very rude. One time, i gave one of the female staff a 20$ note along with an order of a cup of coffee(which probably was $5) and she only gave me change back 20cents. I reminded her that i gave $20 notes and she looked annoyed and said No you didnt. And she looked at me like a thief. Then, of course, i got the rest of change back as i did not lie. She did not say sorry or anything about it, just gave me the remaining change and walked away. I have loved this cafe for years, but their standard of service only goes down as time goes by. Coffee is amazing (soy milk latte) i have no doubt about it; however, i now prefer to be going somewhere else every time i need coffee before, during or after work. It is never pleasant when you were treated as a thief, especially when it was a idiotic mistake of someone else.
Terrible service, busy but tables not cleared. Generic food and over priced for the level of quality served. Don’t intend to ever come back.
I had a traditional toastie for breakfast: cheese, tomato, ham. It was really good. I also had a flat white. Can’t say it’s the best or good enough for aud 4, but meh. The food was better than the coffee. konyoqueen.com
Nothing special about Coffee club and this is no different. They are busy due to location but coffee is average and breakfast is nothing special. Service is ok.
I don’t know what the chef did to our food but I would definitely not recommend eating here. I ordered the gourmet beef burger which came with salad and chips. Exactly 6 individual chips, 1 cherry tomato and some red onion. It actually tasted pretty good but almost immediately afterwards I had an unpleasant taste in my mouth. While wandering around the shops I noticed a gurgling in my belly, followed by rising stomach acid and a queasy feeling. Later on, i experienced what I can only describe as MAGNIFICENT flatulence. I’m talking gale force winds at incredible volumes. I was frightened. I almost called Health Direct! My companion experienced similar side effects to me minus the incredible gas and I would suggest that the chef either does not wash his hands or something in our food had spoiled. Either way, it’s almost 24 hours later and despite having eaten several more times I can still taste that horrible taste when i burp. Coffee club Murray St… CLEAN UP YOUR ACT! I can’t afford another night like that and my pyjama-bottoms can’t either. As it is my blankets are on life support and may not last the night.
