We came here for dinner on a Saturday night for my cousins graduation. There was 13 of us in total. I will start by saying our waiter was absolutely phenomenal. So friendly, attentive and informative- if he didnt know the answer to something he would go and source it. The atmosphere is gorgeous and the menu was extensive. Unfortunately the only down side was that they did not cater for coeliacs. The only gluten free option was red meat which I do not eat. I normally order plain grilled fish or chicken and salad when dining out at night but unfortunately their grilled salmon and chicken were pre- marinated in gluten. My only option for dinner that I could come up with was the cured entree salmon (no dressing etc) with a side salad consisting of lettuce, red onion and a thin slice of cucumber. It was disappointing- this place has a lot of potential.

We came here for lunch and each of us had the 3 course meal. For entree, the calamari dish was absolutely delicious. The steak was quite good too, but I think the ribs taste better. The creme brle was not bad too. However, would have prefer there are more dessert option to choose from on the three course meal selection. Staff was very friendly and service was great.

On a Saturday night, we decided to go try Meat and wine in the CBD. When we decided to book online we got the 5:45 pm spot.We were shown to our table which is by the window and it’s a good spot. Our waitress was very friendly. We ordered for entree the tasting plate, which was more than enough for 5 of us.As for mains, we ordered a few selected dishes. We ordered skewers salmon, we ordered the shorthorn ribeye which was cooked just right. The steak melts in your mouth. We also ordered the pork ribs which is really tasty! The serving is really huge! All our mains come with a side of chip or salad for the option. We ordered one side, we ordered the Farm Salad cos, cucumber, onion, radish, parsley, tomato vinaigrette is one of my favourite salad dishes for a long time. When it comes time to order the dessert, we asked for the menu but it took us a while to decide what to have.By the time we deiced to order, the manager told us that we have to give up our table as it’s been 2 hours. So, unfortunately, we have to leave. Our overall experience was pretty good until we have to leave before ordering dessert. The only suggestion is that the waitress could have told us that we should order dessert soon as our booking time is coming to the end.I will return to have their ribs and steak again!
