If youre a serious Perth foodie, its safe to say you have to put wildflower on your must try at least once list. We visited recently and thoroughly enjoyed the 5 course degustation dinner. The restaurant itself is in a beautiful spot with gorgeous city views. Service staff were very attentive (& plentiful), although it would have been nice to have the same person/people looking after us for the night, instead of 6 or 7 different people. Began with complimentary starters presented quite artistically (but werent particularly stand out flavour wise), moved onto the shark bay blue swimmer crab (delightful), aged emu ham (I was not expecting to like this at all – turned out to be the most delicious dish of the night – highly recommend it), Wagin duck (good), wood grilled lamb (delicious), a refreshing palate cleanser, and finally finished with roasted pineapple chiboust – a real standout dessert. Food was original, interesting, well executed and flavourful. Pricey but fantastic degustation experience worth trying.
