Sat down to a 10 course degustation. Entree was a seafood soup, followed by fried quails and a salad. Entree was a total miss. Didn’t like it at all, food lacked flavor.Seafood main consisted ofSalt and pepper mud crabs,Singaporean crayfish,Soy and ginger fish, Special fried rice and Assorted chinese veggies.Dessert-Assorted fruit.Food was hit and miss.Portions size was good. Again I felt it lacked flavor.Overall not a bad experience.
This place is a real hidden gem. The service is amazing and the food is always good. It’s refreshing to eat fried rice that isn’t gluggy and drenched in oil. The fried rice is light and well seasoned and come in large portions. We also had the three course peking duk, with panckes, san choy bow and fried noodles and soy ginger steamed scallops. Win’s cafe food is always consistently delicious and always keeps me coming back.
Win’s? More like loser’s!. I came in with hope in my heart and a spring in my step and Winnie’s noodles crushed my free spirit. If someone put a gun to my head and told me I had to go back to wan’s noodle place then I would lean in close, breath softly on their ear and whisper ‘tell my mother and orphaned child that I love them.’ In short the service was horrid and the food was average. Won’t be going back.
Best eat. I love the service, quick and fast. The food comes straight from a hot wok. The chief is professionally trained from China and makes fabulous chinese food.18 Apr, 2012Best in Perth. I had a very pleasant meal at win’s cafe, the almond chicken is the best I have ever had, the service is fantastic, the meals are just delicious and I suggest people to come to this restaurant and have a try. You will never look back…… and it’s the best.
Fabulous for group banquets as we had our family christmas celebrations here, all equipped with karaoke. Good is freshly made the crab is amazing!
