If you’re after a quick lunch, this place does reasonable sushi rolls at a reasonable price as well. Quite a variety of roll types and comes in brown, red or white rice too. Don’t expect too much – just some cheap and cheerful Japanese food.
I get my regular lunch fix from here. This place usually has a long queue during lunch hours and it’s not without reason.A round trip to pick up some grub (their teriyaki chicken rice is a must try) and a quick dip into the cafe right next door for the best coffee in town… that’s my day made!
Z Sushi is hands down one of my favourite lunch spots. It has the perfect combination of cheap and crazy tasty*, culminating in the ultimate value offering on Hay Street. To add to this perfect storm of cheap deliciousness, they also have far and away the most genuinely polite service. Bonus points for no minimum card transactions and all sushi dropping to $2 after 4pm.Get around the Fish Katsu Curry for $9 of awesome.*Gaijin disclaimer
