I’ve been to Eljay’s a few times and have enjoyed the food and service. This time was a little different. While the entree of scallops/chorizo on a bed of pea puree was very nice they were tiny and not value at $22.00. We had the pork belly and lamb roll for mains and both were dry and appear to have been reheated in the microwave. The vegetables were extremely salty and brussel sprouts were nearly raw. Hopefully this was a one off. Staff are always friendly and meal delivery was timed perfectly.

Went there twice and we’re thoroughly impressed. Meals were spot on. Reasonable selection of wines which, like the meals, were affordably priced. The service was excellent. As we live about 3,000 km from this Restaurant, we may never return there, but only distance is stopping us.
