Good spot in town to have a nice meal out in Karratha. Not the cheapest place in Karratha, however neither is buying meat from Coles or Woolworths! Recommend the rib dishes especially the bourban ribs. Great to see a fair few dishes served with vegetables, for someone who doesn’t eat chips, Fillet mignon with pea puree, gnocchi and brussels sprouts – delicious. Hopefully its a regular on the menu. Decent servings and quality produce. Blanche bar has a nice alfresco area to enjoy the warm Pilbara weather, may need to book. Service is enthusiastic.

Food was very good, I tried the eye fillet and I was pleasantly surprised by the quality of the meat. So soft and tasty, a highlight. The potato mash wasn’t as impressive and the service wasn’t too organised (they got my order wrong but I moved on). I also wasn’t happy to pay a premium price to get the waitress to pick and pile up all the dirty dishes on the table (like any low end Asian restaurant). The general atmosphere was very good and staff were very friendly and trying hard. We spent about $50 pp but I would recommend you budget $80-$100pp. I think I would return, I haven’t seen anything similar around this town.

This restaurant is probably the best in Karratha, although this is not a difficult milestone to achieve due to the lack of options and the general lack of quality of restaurants in this town. Prices are definitely on the high side, expect to spend $30+ for a decent lunch, and $60+++ for a decent dinner with drinks. For lunch I ordered a barramundi burger with sweet potato chips for $29. The burgers had ups and downs. The barramundi fillet was decent sized, however it lacked any sort of taste. The bun was horrible, thick, and tasteless, which was a let down for what is otherwise a mostly decent burger. The heavy mayo and chutney also didn’t really work well with the overall flavour. The sweet potato chips however was amazing, possibly the best I’ve had.

We came in for a drink, ended up having a few and a meal. The prices were a little high but the staff were very attenative and the food was amazing. I believe the price is on point for such a decent venue up here in the middle of nowhere. No high vis policy is probably helping the ambience which I felt was good.
