Fantastic service, and love that the menu is a little different from you average cafe. I had a long mac which was spot in perfect . We both enjoyed the bruschetta with mushrooms . YUM .. good prices too .
Went for breakfast on a Saturday morning. Friendly staff and had the chance to sit outside. Big breakfast was a big serve- didn’t need to eat anything until dinner that night!
Had Brekky at Ostro today and chose the Quinoa porridge with fruit. It was a bit dissapointing as lacked a lot of flavour and was $15….the fruit on the top wasn’t very nice either.Great coffee and service and the savoury breakfasts looked amazing but would not recommend the porridge.
Chilli infused scrambled eggs was delicious. The turmeric latte (as hipster as that sounds) was on point. AND great service. Definitely worth the visit
Great breakfast and staff. You can tell the Melbourne based cooking background. Great chest knowledge and experience shows in the food. Great size and quality of the food. Coffee was like a good Melbourne coffee. Orange juice in a carafe was fantastic. Lots of specials and juices. The look of the other meals that went out, looked amazing. Wish this was only around the corner and not 3200 kms away.
Had the seared salmon and to be honest it wasn’t the breakfast menu I was looking for at the time because its a bit different but the breakfast was very good and ate it very quickly which says alot. I usually get salmon Benedict but this was just as much the same but with a twist. Very nice. My friend go pancakes and I tried them and they were also very nice but didnt want to ruin my palette too much with my delicious coffee and salmon on the tastebuds
Went lunch on Thursday i went inside and asked to sit outside which was all ok got the menus and ordered of the menu was not told of any specials or anything. I ordered the calamari which was not nice very oily and to many burnt cripy bits and not much of it bit plane for what it cost. The person i was with had the fish and chips which was pretty ordinary also. Would have been nice to see the specials as i have seen reviews on some of the items on it like the pulled pork burger.
