The view of the water was great. And thats the best I can say. Coffee was average. At least it was hot. Food was less than what you would get at MacDonalds. Food was cold, took too long to arrive. Staff have little to no idea on how to wait on people. Dont eat here. Walk down the road a little and go to Ostro instead. Tried the best I could not to be negative. But, someone who couldnt cook, would do better.
Great location, ok food. Whenever we go here we always eat off the lunch special menu which is AMAZING value $19.95? I think and you get a good size meal and beverage inc alcohol of your choice. The only downside is sometimes I feel a little rushed with the service. I would also suggest booking if you can because they do fill up quite quick and ask for a table along the front so you can admire the view
Lovely food but can be pricey however with great ocean views and wonderful staff it all comes together perfectly and well worth a visit. The customer service is quite well mannered from the staff and clean toilets.
Firstly…this IS a beachside restaurant, likely catering to beachgoers. We ended up stuck in Rockers and at 8pm ambled down to the foreshore. First mistake was to choose Sunsets because it seemed to have more people. Customer service was abrupt and hardly accommodating. Not many people and meal took 40 minutes to come out. I had 2 starters-calamari and prawns. Found it greasy and for an evening meal, disappointing. Wife had Greek Lamb. Grey not fresh feta. Too much red capsicum. Meat tough. Everything just looked and tasted oily. I imagine we paid $50 for the view and the balance was what the meal was worth. We are told that customer service in rockers sucks anyway…
Thoroughly enjoyed our dining experience. The Greek Lamb & Cobbler mains were simply delicious & cooked to perfection. Service was friendly & impeccable & the view of the sea was breathtaking. Highly recommended & looking forward to coming back here again.
Visited this place many times in the past. However possible change in ownership or management or chef resulted in a long wait for poor quality food. Only positive was the wait staff were pleasant.
Ridiculously overpriced rubbish; I’ll never be going back. Reef and beef? The shrimp were bigger than the meat, check the pics! No way in the world did this represent any value whatsoever. Oysters were a major disappointment, staff (particularly the head chef) unaccommodating and argumentative when I asked ‘where the rest of it was hiding’. Portion control is your profit control, sure, but what about gaining and retaining new patrons? Lift your game, Sunsets! Half-a-star added as they sent out another portion of steak (which was overcooked anyway… lol, thanks for that!).
