Experience was really bad – I wouldn’t go back and wouldn’t recommend to anyone!Had a flat cheap cola to start with. Pizza was soggy, beef sandwich was chewy, chips not cooked with no sauce and they tried to charge extra for a bit of tomato sauce! What a joke!
you’d get better food and service in prison, which is what they deserve as making me pay for the rubbish they served was a crime. if I could give you a minus 10 out of 5 I would.do not recommend!!!!!!
Can’t believe all of the negativity about the food and service here. I have eaten at many cafes and restaurants and this quaint little gem is anything but awful! I’ve been here a few times and have left satisfied every time. The waitress has always been friendly and accommodating, even letting us take the dips home from the entree as we knew we’d be too full if we ate them all BUT they were too delicious to leave behind. Mains were flavoursome and servings were generous to the point where we couldn’t eat it all. I will definitely be returning and recommending to my friends, a hidden gem!
Epic fail. Walk on by. Dry rubber chicken, sloppy cook/chef practices witnessed which failed to warm us to the place wondering why it was so quiet when next door was buzzing and now we know. Rubber chicken cold spagetti and more rubber chicken closely followed by tepid tap water masquerading as cold. Small portions, waitress was a bit pushy we felt harassed into entering the restaurant when our intention was to simply check the menu. Waitress was informed of our dissatisfaction with the meal and offered one of our party a coffee OR a cake which was declined she offered to ‘see what I can do’ and promotly did nothing with regards the bill. We paid it forwards informing the next group checking the menu outside to walk on, they greatly appreciated our honesty. It wasn’t cheap, their wasn’t much on our plates and it was a big disappointment. So save your money your tummy and walk on by. Sorry guys you failed.
If I had 3 wishes, I;d wish people wood stop complaining about service. They watch too many tv shows.You get your food, and your drinks, enjoy yourselves, dont winge about stuff you know fickle about…If you wanted fine service, go to a fine dining restaurant, that;s what you pay for.The average restaurant has casuals on front of house, it’s not a career move, so I wish people would complain less about service.I wish people wouldn’t complain about wait times… Have a look around you, see how many people there are. The Chefs need to spend time cooking each meal, unless you want fast food.A business cannot afford to employ unlimited staff, and diners wouldn’t be able to afford it if they did…I wish the beer had been colder, that the table didn’t wobble, that they’d gotten my order right. But still we enjoyed our meal, well above par for Rockingham, home of easy & greasy pub grub…The food was fresh, tasty and well cooked, it arrived on time, and I was pleasantly surprised. The food was prepared fresh, I have no complaints, and told them so.Big thumbs up from me, I;d definitely come back.Unless they trade in old mate in the kitchen, who demonstrates his experience, for some young buck.Well done, thanks to Genie our server, Al and Din our hosts…
LOVE IT! GOOD FOOD, EXCELLENT SERVICE.Quality, fresh and deliciously tasty! Very creative hot drinks menu. My friend had Tiramisu Latte and I really enjoyed Chai Latte with Amaretto. Unique European furniture, dimmed lights, candles. It is a truly lovely space to eat in. I had nothing but a good experience. Spaghetti Marinara is something I would definitely recommend, i think this place should be famous for it. We will be back for sure.
EXCELLENT FOOD WITH SERVICE TO MATCH. DINNER ALONG THE BEACHAttentive and friendly service. Meals coming out looked great and I had nothing but a good experience. There were a good mix of couples, groups of 4 and a large table with little kids and everyone got their meals quickly. Otherhalf had Chilli Mussels prepared in garlic, white wine and chilli served with crusty bread and I had New Yourk Strip which was amazing. Both well presented, delicious and it was definitely wonderful experience, with a lovely view.
