We’ve been coming to the Roxby for almost 10 years because it’s always been a pretty solid choice for dinner. We decided to go one last time before the O’Connor location closed. Sadly, it was really not up to standard last night.The food was definitely up to scratch – pad thai as good as ever, massaman curry was yummy and so was the barramundi lard pik. What let it down was the service. I understand restaurants get busy and service gets slow, but having to actually ask the staff TWICE if they can take your order because you’ve been forgotten about is really not acceptable service in my book. We had to do this for both entres/mains and dessert after sitting and waiting for about 15 minutes with our menus, and received no apology from any staff member.It was a really disappointing end to our Roxby O’Connor experience. I hope Roxby can pull their socks up at their new location.
