There are not too many options at the airport and this looked amongst the best of the lot. Ordered vegetables with rice and a beer. Firstly it’s bloody expensive and secondly the food tastes rather ordinary. Only saving grace was the Peroni; thank god they couldn’t do anything about that! I guess the dearth of options keeps this place going.

As far as airport food services go, and given that it’s Perth, not New York or London, Billie Chu is OK. However, given that it’s Perth, I felt it was overpriced for what you get. $15.90 for a small bowl mainly filled with rice, with a little bit of stir-fry that had been sitting in a wok under the heatlamps for a while. Flavours are OK, but nothing to write home about. Got a Matso’s ginger beer with it and the register girl almost charged me over $25 for the meal before I reminded her that it came under the special $19.50 deal of any stir-fry and any Matso’s beer. The sign for the deal was sitting right near the register. So not much enthusiasm coming from the staff or attention to detail. In future I’ll probably just wait til I’m on the plane and eat my free Qantas meal.

This place is a joke. Closes at 4:30 despite being in an airport terminal. Line up a mile long at neighboring eateries (of which there are very few). Would love to review the food here but being open for business seems too difficult for this place.

New recently opened restaurant at airport. Stopped here for lunch tried the bbq pork & pork & veggie dumplings. BBQ dumplings were nice good flavours although the pork/veggie were a bit of a let down as a little stodgy. Not bad as food outlets at airports go.
