What:A. Rump beef steak, garlic sauce, chips, salad.($16)B. Lemon, lime and bitters.($6.30)*1.5% credit card surcharge ($0.33)Review:Food-A. Steak was well cooked-medium all the way through as asked. Delightful smokey after taste. Garlic sauce adds just the right level of spice without overpowering the meatiness of the steak. Chips better then standard fare, well cooked, balanced moisture content and crispiness. Token salad.B. Standard pub drink, nothing out of the ordinary.Service-very swift service and friendly, bubbly staff.Ambience-relaxed, gently lit, wooden decor fits beer garden.Overall: great food, friendly swift service. Perhaps slightly overpriced. A lovely place to have dinner with friends.
Disgusting Service. The evening started by the waitress smashing a wine glass before she even poured the wine. Garlic bread was forgotten. Entree, garlic prawns were good and very generous.. Main course – can’t describe as mine never eventuated. Very disappointing. Had to ask for water to the table. Cutlery for mains were not provided and when asked for cutlery, it was hapzardly slung on the table. Apalling service and would not recommend this restaurant to anyone.
