Amigos has been bought out, re-branded as Pedro’s and is back to its former glory under the new owner! On our kids’ request, we drove from Busselton to (what we thought was) Amigos, all the while expecting a dodgy meal as Amigos had been going downhill for a while. When we arrived, we found it had changed name and ownership and there was a steady queue of diners forming at the bar. Lucky for us, we’d booked ahead and Pedro’s didn’t disappoint!Everything we ordered was top notch, especially the new Street Eats menu addition. The street corn was simply delicious.
Arrived late to Dunborough and thought we would just wander around and see what we could find open. Amigos is in an arcade tucked behind other restaurants and we almost walked past it. Luckily we did find it! Service was quick and friendly. Started with the trio of dips and then moved on to enchiladas and a mixed enchilada and taco. Good solid what we like Mexican food. Only comment was we might order hot rather than mild next time.
Nice restaurant atmosphere when you just stepped in. Didn’t expect it’s a bit classy look. The service is good. The food is not the best to me as I don’t really have Mexican food so much these days. Usually at food truck and back to 10 years ago, I tried a fair bit of TexMex in Texas US. Both dishes are not hot (in flavour) at all but warm in temperature when served, which I liked it much. The sauce are all too thick to me but that’s not a big problem. Overall a nice meal.
