Awesome little place, it was my first time trying it today as a group of 5. We all got the pizza which was the best we’ve had down here and the the beer was amazing. The service was great, very friendly and good to have a laugh with and the place caters for kids as well. The tasting trays with the drinks were great too, so good we had to buy half a carton to take home. Would highly recommend
This place has the worst service I have ever experienced. We followed up with an email to the owner, giving them an opportunity to respond in a private forum. Unfortunately no reply was received. We walked in without a booking and the place was at capacity. The lady who approached us offered to sell takeaway so two members of our group went to buy some beer. After a 15 minute wait the two people were still in line and the rest of us were waiting on the outer edge of the grassed area with a three toddlers who we decided to give snacks too as we were going to buy lunch and needed to head to a new destination. The lady who initially served us charged over, yelling from half way across the lawn “what are you still doing here”. We tried explaining that we were still waiting to purchase the takeaway drinks and the attack continued. Next she started with “you can’t bring food in from outside” we tried explaining we were given the children a snack while the others waited in line as we would have to wait at least an hour to travel to an alternative venue and order lunch. Finally she started walking off yelling, when we said we will be sure to write a review she turned around, took a bow and yelled go for it. Safe to say all the customers on the lawn asked if we were ok and were shocked by the behaviour of the staff member. It needs to be clear that our issue wasn’t about the venue being full. We hadn’t booked, that’s fine. The issue was about the poor handling of the situation. Also if you need people to leave immediately for your license don’t offer takeaway purchases, particularly if the line is over 15min long.

Love the outdoor beer garden area, great relaxed vibe that is pet and children friendly. Hasn’t changed much since I last went there 5 or so years ago. Pretty sure the drinks are still the same which I like 🙂 The service was so helpful and friendly really made us feel welcome; they were very accommodating too as they offered to make us up food that wasn’t on the menu to suit our needs. Amazing! Greatly appreciated!
My friend looooooves the strawberry blonde beer and will try to buy as much as she can when we go down south. I’m not into beer but there lager is nice. Love the laid back atmosphere with foosball, pool and games to entertain your group. The food is good too. Had nachos, pizza and a sandwich here. Nacho serving is massive. Service is always friendly. Wonderful place not too miss, so relaxed.
