We came for dinner on a Wed night with an Entertainment Book voucher and had a really good experience. The place was still pretty busy with 2 small functions, but the staff were very attentive, quickly taking our drinks and subsequently food orders. The staff were the highlight of the evening and were an absolute pleasure.Foodwise, the coffee was good, the appetisers (Chorizo and Oysters) were equally good. Finally the mains (Surf and Turf, and Seafood Basket) were great, particularly the seafood basket, one of the best I’ve had. Can’t say much for the view as it was getting dark and the windows are frosted out at the bottom, but an all round good experience.

The location of the Portofino’s restaurant is amazing. Unfortunately the venue is not utilised to its best. There is so much potential to make this place fantastic. I really hope improvements are on their way. The service was fantastic, the host is amazing and always willing to please. It is so fantastic to have such a wonderful place at our doorstep. However, improvements are needed. The prices are way overpriced. $12 for a small bowl of olives and a small slice of Halloumi is just too much. The food was ok, not great. It was something you could do at home – nothing special. The prices really need to come down and the food needs to be better – a lot better if they are adamant on charging the prices they do.We enjoyed the dinner, we couldn’t fault the service. I really hope the owners realise the potential of such a wonderful venue and improvements are made.
Nice views , great vibe, nice food….. But really expensive for what you get. Small portions for the price you pay. Service was not the best but it was really busy.
First time here. Beautiful location, beach front. The venue itself is very plain and boring. However the windows out to the ocean are lovely. Its very family orientated, so lots of kids around the place. Food menu was ok. The same as anywhere else really. I had oysters kilpatrick. They were good. Also had seafood paella, was pretty good. Hubby had calamari, which seemed not to be fresh, but nice. And steak. Which was cooked perfect. I enjoyed dinner. A good price. We had a entertainment card. I wouldnt rush back.
We visited this Restaurant on a Saturday night The view from this place is spectacular.The restaurant was busy filled with families. Our waitress was wonderful very attentive and courteous.The vegetarian options are limited but my friends thoroughly enjoyed their Snapper and Paella . The desert options are good , really enjoyed the Tiramisu ..The prices are a bit on the high side .. but overall the service , the view and few good dishes makeup for it . I will be recommending to my friends.
Serving staff brilliant really helpful and courtious. My partner really enjoyed her Seafood plate and she is really into her seafood.Who ever was cooking the steaks, can’t cook a steak to save their lives! Ordered medium got well done, asked for another steak (I know …. risky), got a fresh plate looked good ….. but steak was very well done !!!!They gave our drinks for free, but anniversary was spoiled.
