Appalling service and terrible food. We waited an hour in line taking turns to stand there. Another hour to be served our meal. The seafood platter for two is full of battered terrible seafood. We asked for extra lemon and the staff stated that two small pieces were enough for most people and literally threw 3 small slices at us. The hamburger was dry the roll stale. The popcorn chicken really dry and inedible. In WA why would you not highlight the seafood. I was embarrassed for our NSW guests.
Beautiful location, along the river. Went here for lunch on a Sunday. Staff was friendly and attentive, although they were ridiculously busy!The line to order food was so long! For the amount of people they catered on that Sunday, they did a great job and the food came out quick enough! Everyone was working as hard as they could to cater for everyone! Food was okay, just a pub meal. There was nothing special about my Fish and Chips. My partner had a meat platter, the lamp ribs, had hardly any meat on it, and everything else was chewy and not worth the money. Another thing I’ve noticed was that this place was so noisy! we had to sit inside, as all the outside tables were taken. We had to shout to understand each other…all in all it is a nice place to have a few beer on a Sunday arvo 🙂
The location on the Murray River is lovely, but that’s the only reason I would come back unless it’s because there is nowhere else that’s any better nearby (I’m not a local so I don’t know whether this is the case). We waited a ridiculous amount of time to order and then again for our food and we assumed this was because it was really good food, but we were disappointed. We had the Revo Taster and wedges. I think the wedges were just from a supermarket packet and the tasting plate seemed like it was just reheated items so it really shouldn’t have taken so long. I think maybe they’re trying to do too much at this venue and not doing it particularly well. It’s a nice place for a beer, but don’t bother with the food.
stayed down there for work and have stayed in a lot of hotels and never been served up pig swill like that before small parmy room temperature chips[dry and wrinkley]no salad bar or bread the only thing that was thrown in for the exorbitant price was a 4 inch hair sorry guys but you are a joke thinking people can eat that crap we aren’t rat
