This website says $35 for 2 people. They must be off the planet. We buy the $21 combo pack which includes fish, chips, squid rings and pineapple rings and we are stuffed, often leaving some fish for later. The fish is beautifully cooked and the squid rings are some of the best available. I go several kilometres out of my way to buy here. The place is clean and the service is good. One of the pleasures of buying from here is that it is only one block from Riverton Bridge where there is grassed foreshores and is a beautiful spot to sit and eat on a nice day or summer evening.
Visited Brian’s bar today after nearly 3 years. Ordered Combo 1 for $8. Got a decent fillet of fresh Hake fish, good portion of chips that I couldn’t finish and a can of lemonade. Service given by the bloke was quick, friendly and courteous. Listened to my request for extra chicken salt and no vinegar.Overall Combo 1 for $8 is pretty good value for money. Will be back again.
Visited Brian’s Fish Bar tonight for a serve of chips – $4 worth. Smallest portion I’ve ever received…total waste of money and over-salted. Strongly recommend Shelley Fish and Chips on Tribute St instead.
