The coffee is nice as usual. The chicken Turkish Bread surprise me a lot, the taste is good.A super speedy service.it is above my expectation
You’d think that this place would have a proper salt and paper shaker instead of the cheap slat and pepper sachets. There was quite a bit of water on my plate from the scrambled eggs being cooked in the microwave, which also made my bread soaked. Very unpleasant. Please ask the chef to cook properly and not use the microwave – that’s not cooking. Rather disappointing.
Wish I could give a lower rating. Never going back. Used to be such a lovely place with great coffee, but ever since the new boss took over it has dropped. The food is now dry and tasteless. Not much effort is put into their coffees anymore. Also there use to be a very lovely young lady that was super sweet, that would serves me every Saturday. I’m very upset and disappointed in Jamaica blue riverton, was my favourite cafe to go to on Saturdays but now it’s terrible. Never going back
Met at friend Jamaica Blue for coffee at 3.30pm. As i arrived and sat in their alfresco area, they began packing up the outside tables. I was a little surprised as the shop closes at 5pm. At 4.30pm we were approached and asked to move from the outside table as they were packing up. We moved inside and ordered a second cup of coffee. The young wait person began sweeping around our feet and making us feel unwelcome. At 4.50pm we were approached again and asked to leave as they wanted to close the doors! Unbelievable. I pointed out that their trading hours were until 5pm and was told… that is when the staff leave. Never again.
Good coffee with fresh milk and nice sandwich .Atmosphere is in the shopping and this make Good spot for shopper to sit for a cuppa .pastries are ok but coffee is the best .
Must have changed management recently as food standards have definitely slipped, eggs Benedict arrived cold, and two lots of poached eggs were rock hard and tasted so much like vinegar they were inedible. Used to frequent this place, however I won’t be returning.
