Dinner at the local @therivobarandgrill . We had the Entree sized Classic Chilli Mussels, Chicken Parmigiana and the Spare ribs which literally fell off the bone! All three dishes were really delicious, and love that you can add extra birds eye chilli to the chilli mussels! Yum! Pretty good meal here. Would definitely come back to try other dishes. Also, make a booking before coming! This place is packed with people every night, family friendly.
The new Rivo replaces the old sizzlers. Despite the amazing refurbishment and excellent use of the glass roof features and facades, I was not impressed. Our Garlic bread was burned… not a great start. My melt was delicious for the first few bites but as I continued on I became overwhelmed by how greasy and heavy it was and I could only finish half, and barely made a dent on the huge amount of chips on the plate. My dining companions enjoyed their meals more, and reported that the steak was well cooked and of high quality. Maybe I picked the dud on the menu despite it being a signature item?

Highly anticipated by the local community, this place has been suuuper busy since its recent opening. It was quite noisy inside but its been re-done beautifully and the ambience of the place was very nice. Food we ordered was unfortunately below average, we had a fairly large booking and most meals were okay but the two steaks and fish we ordered were overdone and the chicken suzanne was a bit pink. Apart from these (what seemed like) teething issues, the service we received was amazing and we had a pleasant experience – we will probably return and give it another chance when it isnt so busy. 2.5 stars
