The Roleystone Fish and Chip shop has improved so much with the new owners, well worth a visit. The food is great and the new owners are really nice and friendly. I found them to be very helpful when we needed to order the grilled fish and the burgers are fantastic, homemade patties. Try the works burgers it was delish.
I haven’t tried them again yet but just advising you as of June 2016 they are under new owners/managers/cooks and they are getting great reviews from locals so please give them a try again. We will be trying them again.
Best chips around….. shame about the rest. The chips are seriously the best out there…… but don’t bother getting anything else. The fish is small and greasy, the burgers are a joke, im sure they use homebrand burgers……. This could be such a great spot for the Roley locals if the rest of the food was up to scratch.
Yum. Ordered fish and chips for three and it was prepared quicker than the promised time and was delish! Nice and crunchy batter and chips were great, we’ll go back!
Dont waste your time. The Roleystone fish and chip shop is my local and i have given this place so many chances! Ordered 3 servings of snapper and chips, the chips were average, the snapper was overcooked, dry, batter was dark brown and burnt. In my opinion this was not snapper i was given as looked and tasty very different to snapper! Very disappointing.
Absolutely Disgusting!. Horrible horrible horrible! Absolutley the worst fish n chips I have ever had. Served by a young teenager who was pleasant enough but not enough to make up for the disgusting food we paid good money for … we have recently moved into the area and are looking for local businesses that we can get the occassional good feed from … at least we now know where not to go!! It really seems like the owners couldn’t care less!
Terrible. The worst fish and chips i have ever had. Don’t waste your money.
