Service was fine. but the meal was an absolute joke.Ordered a plate of Nachos with chicken as an extra. No chicken came with the Nachos, and the Nachos themselves were literally some ‘Nacho Cheese’ flavoured Dorritos or CC’s on plate with some horrible salsa. I was not expecting a whole lot considering its a bistro; but really,it was just horrible. Could not even eat more than a couple of chips.felt very cheated considering my girlfriend and i so rarely get to go out for a meal, and we wasted our hard earned money on this crap.
Went here on saturday with the best friend! Half way between mand and freo! Wasnt impressed! We both ordered the lunch special barra on a hot rock! Not what we expected! The barra came out completely raw! So its takes i while to cook in front of you! Also the skin was completely ruined because it had stuck to the rock! Garlic butter was good! Side salad was dismal and the chips were soggy! Both have a mocktail nothing to rave about!
went last night with friends to celebrate birthday, the service was the worst we have ever experienced 2 hours waiting for meals, when we complained after an hour asked to see the manager nothing happened it was 2 complaints later and forty mins before manager finaly came to see us and then tried to put the blame on us because we ordered seperatly and they lost the dockets. Poor kids were starving as it took them 2 hours to cook chicken nuggets and chips or stick a piece of raw steak on a hot stone, its not like we were walk ins either we had booked the table. Will never go back and not recommend it to anyone.
First visit tonight and I’ll definitely be back, looks like they have cool live music sessions and cheap deals each day of the week! We tried the hot rocks which was definitely interesting, sort of funny to sit there essentially cooking your own meal but it ended up pretty delicious if I do say so myself 😉 the staff were all lovely ESPECIALLY Jack, really amazing customer service and just seems like a top bloke, he’s a real asset to the business. Also OMG the blue cheese mushrooms entree…. yummmmmmmmm
They had a technical issue and missed our entres but the staff bent over backwards to make up for it which was fantastic. Food and atmosphere was great.
Booked a table of 8 for my birthday Worst food I have ever had in fact so bad it spoilt my birthday and was embarrassing Food was disgusting not one person enjoyed what they ordered Forget the hot rock idea it incinerated my fish The chips were oven baked frozen fries the mash was lumpy small portions and flavourless Wouldn’t come back to this restaurant if it was the last restaurant in Rockingham No one ever approached us to ask if we enjoyed our meal I think the staff were too scared as to what we might say Never again please don’t waste your money and time
Pretty expensive on the high side, setting and ambience was good but not sure if i want to be ripped off again! Might return if theres a promotion or the service & food improves a tad bit more
