Nice bar but don’t go for the food. ‘Beach Boys’ platter for 2 was straight from Coles. Homemade chips on the main reminded me of being a kid when ur mum promised she could make maccas at home but failed miserably. The place was also way too quiet for much of the meal, until somebody finally chucked on some music. Overall, go for the alcohol and friendly staff but if you want to eat olives from a jar just save your money and go straight to Coles.

Went over the weekend and got the beef burger with chips. The panini beread was soft along with the beef patty. The chips however were dry and some of them burnt. My partner got the steak on the stone which you had to cook to your liking which was pretty cool. The garlic sauce didnt taste like garlic, more like cream sauce. Probably wouldnt come back for the food, but the ambience is great. Right across from the beach. Good place to chill after the beach.

Was a bit wary after some of the reviews on here but a family member loved the place and offered to pay for my meal. Ended up getting the $15.95 lunch special of steak on a hot rock..It was beautiful! Very tender and flavoursome, also slicing and cooking it myself was actually quite entertaining. The pepper sauce was amazing (seriously it’s like crack), the chips were tasty and plentiful, the salad was fresh. There were about 10 of us and everyone enjoyed their meals. Pricing was great too, for meals as well as drinks (note this was lunch special, dinner is more expensive).Sounds like most the people on here have complained about the barramundi and nachos, so as long as you avoid those you should hopefully be fine. Being a stingy bastard, for what you get for the price I can’t recommend this place enough.
