The customer service is fantastic, I requested a Vegetarian Rogan Josh, it’s not even on their menu and they made it or me, can’t beat that! The portions are rather small when you dine in but I like this place and our take away has always been lovely, fresh and hot when delivered. This place and Spice on the Ocean are my preferred Indian restaurants in the area.
Every curry has a different taste and look, just like a curry house should be like, restaurant should bring the prices down a bit I agree, but the take away prices and food is great. You can tell these are the real deal and not the soupy attempt others try and make money on!
Quality doesn’t match overpriced dishes. Chicken korma had minimal cashew and the chicken was tough- sauce like soup.Dahl was so slushy it was poured into soup bowls from the takeaway tubBland with no love in the dishes We have tried indian all over perth and this was the highest price with the worst quality of anywhere we have been. Sincerely hope it was just a very bad kitchen night:(
Spicy pan is soooo much better than this place!! The depth of flavour is not there, too bland. Way overpriced for what you get. The butter chicken doesn’t even taste like it’s been charcoalled in the tandoor
Got a takeaway, 5 different dishes, each of them excellent. Will definitely be back for more, best indian in the area.
Used to love this place but the food is now overly salty. This is a great neighbourhood restaurant that we have enjoyed visiting for a couple of years now, both take away and dine in. The service isn’t always perfect but it has always been friendly and it’s a treat to sit on good chairs and use linen napkins. Lately though I have found the food to be very salty and too oily. The menu hasn’t changed much at all either. Altho everyone likes ‘traditional’ dishes, there is a lot of variety in north Indian food and it would be great to see some alternatives on the menu, esp some dishes lower in fat and salt.
Delicious. Love love the food. Way good so better than virsat. Highly recommend. Very tasty, my family loves it.
