Be prepared to walk away very full. Big generous meals, tasty flavours with the option of how hot you want each dish. Seriously good home made sangria, not the sickly sweet pre made stuff. Big range of tequilas to choose from. The staff are very warm and welcoming with colourful uniforms set in the classic feel of a Mexican cantina, all walking distance from the beach if you need to walk off the food Iike we did! Defiantly will be heading back to try more dishes soon.
We came here for a celebration on a Sat night at 5.30. We didn’t receive entrees until about 6.30 and mains an hour after that. When I asked where the food was I was told some weird story about the kitchen not being able to coordinate. When the food did arrive almost everyone at our table agreed it was bland or not enjoyable. The server was mostly polite and did apologize for the wait and asked us how our food was however by that point in the night I wanted to avoid confrontation and just leave. I will not return and would recommend that you save some money and go to Mad Mex/Zambreros or any of those takeaway mexican places and get a better meal.
Food was very bland and expensive for what you got, i ordered the nachos grande which is suposed to have layers of chicken, i found 2 small pieces of chicken in the whole dish also the waitress who was lovely ( couldnt fault the service) she came and explained there was no guacamole at the beggining of service as the avacados are out of season!!!!! Poor excuse for a mexican resturant!
