Ordered take away from here, was bloody amazing. The gnocchi portofino had nice thick creamy sauce and the mussels were delicious! Garlic bread was also great. Yum, will definitely return.
Excellent. Delicious food, great staff. Really enjoyed the meal this evening. I had the gnocchi Portofino with salad. My husband had the pepper scallopini. Our parents had chicken scallopini masala and chicken Lugano. All meals were excellent. Really nice coffee too.
So lucky to have La Vela as my local Italian restaurant. Been coming here for years. Best pasta and gnocchi. Complimentary arancini during dining in is always a win. Tiramisu is also really good
Lovely restaurant with fantastic staff . I had the tortellini and it was great, a little oily but nice. My wife had the seafood marinara and came hot and delicious . We didn’t wait long for the food and the table service was great. Will be back
Awesome friendly service and delicious food, couldn’t fault anything! Had the gnocchi chorizo and the fettuccini romano. Complimentary arancini balls were a yummy start. Definitely going back.

Great Local independant Italian!!!I have only been here once and really enjoyed the food and service – its italian with a twist for example their is egg in the Lasange (but its awesome) We were offered free aranchini balls on arrival which was a nice touch and they were tasty!!! Its a BYO so you can have a nice inexpensive night out while supporting your local community. One odd thing I forgot to mention is the frozen Veges you get with the fish – rather odd I would rather have salad or nothing.
